문화체육관광부 대한민국역사박물관(관장 한수)이 광화문 주변에 위치한 국공립 문화기관 7곳과 손잡고 내외국인 관광객을 대상으로 통합 디지털 리플릿을 제작하여 배포한다. 참여 기관은 문화체육관광부 소속 국립현대미술관, 국립민속박물관, 국가유산청 소속 국립고궁박물관, 서울시 소속 서울역사박물관, 서울공예박물관, 서울시립미술관, 세종문화회관이다.
디지털 리플릿은 광화문 주변 8개 국공립문화기관의 위치, 소개, 전시 및 행사 등의 내용을 담고 있다. 이 리플릿은 지난해 4월부터 관람안내를 위한 디지털 리플릿을 도입하여 큰 호응을 얻고 있는 국립현대미술관 사례를 참고한 것으로 종이 인쇄물이 아닌 디지털 형식으로 제작되어 친환경적이고, 정보 무늬(QR코드)를 이용해 개인 스마트 폰으로 바로 확인할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 디지털 리플릿은 광화문 광장을 찾은 다양한 국적의 외국인들을 위해 한글 외에, 영어, 중국어, 일본어, 스페인어 등 4개 언어로 제작되었다. 외국인들은 고국에 돌아가서도 연결 주소(링크)를 통해 언제든지 접속해 볼 수 있으며 지인들에게 링크를 전송해서 광화문 문화기관 정보를 공유할 수 있다.
디지털 리플릿 접속 정보 무늬(QR코드) 안내문은 인천공항 서울시 관광안내소, 광화문, 명동, 인사동 등 서울 시내 주요 관광안내소에 비치되어 관람객들이 편하게 이용할 수 있도록 했다.
이번 디지털 리플릿 제작 예산 부담과 사업을 총괄한 대한민국역사박물관의 한수 관장은“이번 광화문 문화기관의 디지털 리플릿 제작 사업은 기관 간의 장벽을 허물고 협력하여 수준 높은 문화정보를 효과적으로 제공하는 의미 있는 사례로, 앞으로 국내외 관광객들에게 도움이 되는 사업 개발을 위해 계속 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History (Director Han Soo), in collaboration with seven other public cultural institutions around the Gwanghwamun, has produced a unified digital leaflet for domestic and foreign tourists. The participating institutions are the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul, the National Folk Museum of Korea, the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); the National Palace Museum of Korea (under the Korea Heritage Service); the Seoul Museum of History, the Seoul Museum of Craft Art, the Seoul Museum of Art, and the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts (under the Seoul Metropolitan Government).
The digital leaflet provides information on the location, introduction, exhibitions, and events of the eight public cultural institutions around the Gwanghwamun. Produced in a digital format instead of printed paper offers the advantage of being eco-friendly and instantly accessible on personal smartphones via QR code. This leaflet is based on the example of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, which has been using digital leaflets for visitors guidance since April of last year.
In addition, the digital leaflet is available in five languages: Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish, to cater to the diverse nationalities of visitors to Gwanghwamun Square. Foreign tourists can access the leaflet anytime even after returning home through the QR link and share information about Gwanghwamun cultural institutions with their acquaintances by sending the link. The QR code for accessing the digital leaflet can be found at major tourist information centers in Seoul, including Incheon Airport, Seoul Tourism Information Center, Gwanghwamun, Myeongdong, and Insadong.
Director Han soo of the national Museum of Korean Contemporary History, who managed the overall project for the production of this digital leaflet, said, “This collaboration project to create a digital leaflet for Gwanghwamun cultural institutions is a meaningful example of breaking down barriers between institutions and providing high-quality cultural information. We will continue to strive to develop projects that are helpful to domestic and foreign tourists.” He expressed his hope that many people will use the leaflet.
